Help Heifer China in the aftermath of the earthquake
Chen Taiyong, director for Heifer China, which is based in Chengdu on the edge of the quake epicenter tells us their office was rocked by the quake, but the staff is okay. He thanks everyone in NYC in advance for your concern and caring. He has already been to the disaster zone with colleagues to assess damage and distribute immediate aid – the need is great. Heifer works with 8,000 families in the disaster area, many are now homeless. Both Anna and myself have visited Heifer’s fantastic work in the devastated region and we hope you will help them re-build.
